Today we decided to take Preston to the Blank Park Zoo since Wells Fargo gave us 1/2 off tickets. Despite some rain sprinkles early on, we had a great time. Preston even gazed at most of the animals and was very intrigued.

He was even a little scared of some of the animals- he thought the fish in this aquarium were going to jump out and get him.
"I see you down there duckies!"
They had a little kids area where you could feed farm animals (if I remember correctly, I think this is the place were the goat ate Aunt Paige's hair when she was about 4 yrs old) and also a nice playground (which Daddy helped build on his volunteer day). I am sure Preston will enjoy this more when he gets a little older.
After I took this picture, the lion opened his mouth very wide and licked his chops...I think he wanted us for lunch.

Preston got to see some giraffes up close and personal while Mommy and Daddy fed them. Daddy's face looks funny because he thought the giraffe's tongue was gross to touch!
