Nice Weekend

We had a nice, relaxing weekend before the busy-ness starts this week. Mommy and Daddy went to a wedding for one of her previous co-workers, Erin, on Saturday. It was a nice ceremony and we got to hang out at the reception and have a few drinks because Grandpa Kyle stayed home with Preston. The rest of the weekend was spent cleaning so our new crawler does not get into everything and packing/shopping for our trip to Wisconsin this coming Sunday. Daddy even took the day off on Monday to hang out and pack. We took Preston to Village Inn for breakfast and he got to try eggs, french toast, and pancakes, which of course he loved. Preston loves his newfound mobility, but has become very clingy the last couple of days. Not sure why-maybe he thinks that since we know he can get around everwhere, we will stop picking up him up and holding him. Anyways, he has been a permanent fixture on my hip...and he is not a light little boy! We even got the baby carrier out last night and he rode around on my back while I did laundry and put it away. Hopefully this is a short phase, but if anyone has any ideas or has shared the same experience, let me know. It is really hard to get ready in the mornings with one arm! This week is crazy busy with Mommy having class tonight, meeting with clients tomorrow night, Icubs game for Scott's work on Thurs night, wedding rehearsal and dinner Friday, and then Amy's wedding on Saturday. Grandma Diane is coming down to help watch Preston during the craziness. Then we leave for the lake on Sunday for a week of relaxation-yippee!

As I have stated before, Preston LOVES swimming. He probably sits in his pool 3-4 days a week and splashes around like crazy.

He has recently figured out how to "bounce" while leaning on the side.
