Adventureland

Grandma Diane got some cheap tickets to Adventureland on Saturday, so she treated us to a fun-filled day at the theme park. Preston got to go on a few rides and it was nice cooling off at the new Kokomo Cove water attraction.

Water comes out everywhere so it is impossible not to get soaked at this place!

Mommy won this spikey football because the lady at Adventureland guessed that she was 23 years old :)
"Mom, Can I please play with your cell phone?"

When Mommy was getting ready one morning, Preston decided to destroy his bedroom, with a smile on his face of course.

Mommy, Aunt Paige, Grandma Diane, and Preston went to get pedicures and manicures last week. Preston wanted to dip his feet in the nice warm tub too.

Happy Father's Day

Hi. This is Preston. I just wanted to tell my Daddy that I love him very much and that he is the best Daddy in the world! He is an amazing Daddy and takes great care of me. I smile when he walks into the room and he can always make me giggle! I know we are going to have lots of fun together. Mommy also wanted me to tell Daddy that she is so proud of him for being such a wonderful husband and Daddy. Happy Father's Day Daddy!
This picture is of Daddy and me when I was about 1 week old. Wow- I was little back then! The picture below is from this week when Daddy and me were playing in the pool. Isn't my Daddy awesome!
PS- I also want to say Happy Father's Day to my Grandpa Kyle and Grandpa Larry! I am so lucky to have so many people that love me!

Greene River Days

Mommy, Daddy, and Preston went back to Greene over the weekend to attend Preston's 1st Greene River Days and for Father's Day. Preston was exhausted because he did so many things including walking (or riding) in a 5K, going to the parade, swinging, going to the big swimming pool, going downtown to the petting zoo, swimming in Grandpa's pool, riding in his toy car, watching his cousins play baseball, and some hard playing with new toys. He was so tired, but had so much fun!
On the way back from Greene, we saw this beautiful rainbow.

Grandpa Kyle watched Preston while Mommy and Daddy went to the Vic Ferrari Band downtown on Saturday night. Grandpa got this awesome swing for him!
"My swing is so fun!"
Aunt Molly, Preston, and Aunt Paige at the big swimming pool in Greene. Preston was a little overwhelmed at first from all the people, but after awhile he warmed up, kicked back, and relaxed.
Preston showing off his kicks in the water. He even showed Aunt Paige and Aunt Molly how he goes under and does his front and back floats.
Grandma Diane got out this car from when Aunt Molly was little. "Beep Beep, Get out of the way, I'm comin' through!"
We went to Ventura on Friday night to give Cousin Zach his bday present. Preston and Grandma Sue watched Mommy, Daddy, and all the cousins play baseball.Scott and Zach with his new baseball bat.

Pool Time!

It was finally warm enough for Preston to sit in his pool this past week. It was a big hit- he loves to sit and splash in his pool.
Preston with crazy hair after swimming Big smiles while in his pool!

Our pool is pretty big, so Mommy and Daddy can sit in it too.
Preston loves to splash, doesn't even care if water gets in his face.

After a hard evening swimming, he had some potatoes and squash.
" These potatoes are fun to squish through my fingers."
Just texting his friends

Adios Texas

Aunt Paige moved back from Texas last week. She will be living in Greene for the summer, then she is moving to Costa Rica in August. We are bummed she is moving even further away from us, but hopefully we can visit Paige in Costa Rica. That would be a great vacation!
Aunt Paige and Preston- Preston is too busy looking at the tree and birds though Aunt Paige finally decided to get the "sister tattoo" that Mommy and Aunt Molly have. It was very painful for her, so Mommy had to hold her hand.

"Ouch!"
Preston says "What are you doing Aunt Paige!"
This looks like a scandalous picture, but we are trying to show our tattoos. Molly, Mommy's foot, and Paige.

Gardening

Grandma Diane came down last week and helped us plant our garden. We planted many delicious things like tomatoes, peas, cucumbers, squash, green beans, onions, peppers, and carrots. Hopefully our strawberries and raspberries bear fruit this year too! Preston was a big helper and went to the store to help pick out the plants and also plant them.
Preston was such a good boy while we were gardening! Eating a leaf

Thanks for all your help Grandma!

Busy Busy!

We have been very busy during the month of May and the beginning of June, hence, why I have not blogged in a long time. Mommy had to complete her 2nd field experience before the school year ended so her friend, Amy, was nice enough to let Mommy help out in her 3rd grade classroom. Mommy's Grandma, Barb, died suddenly in the middle of May, so it was a sad week for Mommy and her family. It was nice to see family that Preston had never met before, though. Aunt Molly returned from Peru and we were so excited to see her over Memorial Day Weekend. Molly even got to babysit one day for Preston while Mommy went to her field experience. Preston started running a high fever over Memorial Day weekend and was cranky, so we took him to the doctor and decided he had a virus and it just had to run its course. Of course we have had many visitors, including Grandpa and Grandma Eichmeier, Aunt Kristi, and all Preston's cousins this week for the World Pork Expo. They babysat Preston for a couple days while Mommy and Daddy went to work. Tonight is Mommy's 1st night away from Preston as she has a bachelorette party to attend for her friend, Amy. We are staying in a hotel so it should be pretty fun, although I know I will miss Preston greatly! Preston and Daddy are attending a wedding back in Ventura tonight and will be coming home tomorrow. I think that about sums up our last month or so.
