We have been very busy during the month of May and the beginning of June, hence, why I have not blogged in a long time. Mommy had to complete her 2nd field experience before the school year ended so her friend, Amy, was nice enough to let Mommy help out in her 3rd grade classroom. Mommy's Grandma, Barb, died suddenly in the middle of May, so it was a sad week for Mommy and her family. It was nice to see family that Preston had never met before, though. Aunt Molly returned from Peru and we were so excited to see her over Memorial Day Weekend. Molly even got to babysit one day for Preston while Mommy went to her field experience. Preston started running a high fever over Memorial Day weekend and was cranky, so we took him to the doctor and decided he had a virus and it just had to run its course. Of course we have had many visitors, including Grandpa and Grandma Eichmeier, Aunt Kristi, and all Preston's cousins this week for the World Pork Expo. They babysat Preston for a couple days while Mommy and Daddy went to work. Tonight is Mommy's 1st night away from Preston as she has a bachelorette party to attend for her friend, Amy. We are staying in a hotel so it should be pretty fun, although I know I will miss Preston greatly! Preston and Daddy are attending a wedding back in Ventura tonight and will be coming home tomorrow. I think that about sums up our last month or so.
